Umm, I tried the links, and couldn’t find them, maybe try repasting them.

oh, and that is the wrong site for bachmann. go to http://www.bachmanntrains.com/ for the bachmann trains website. I have made the same mistake other times, but unless you want the electrical company…

Do any of them work?

What am I doing wrong?

OLD DAD

I’m not sure, perhaps check the links themselves. The trex site works, but i’m not sure if it is the one you wanted to post. the top three do not work. The bachmanntrains.com link does work now.

ITS ALIVE!!!

Finally…OLD DAD

thanks for it

Hello OLD DAD

Here’s a link just for your “micro-layout”

www.hon30.org

This is for the HOn30 Depot, of great use to Nut-job’s like you and me who also dabble in those tiny, tiny trains that run on tiny, tiny layouts.

I also highly recommend doing a micro-layout’s to all out there, its a lot of fun.

check out the link above at carendt.com

OLD DAD:

I like the idea of your postings of the informative weblinks. I have checked them all out and they all seem to be interesting.

The trouble I see is that when you add new links I can not tell which one is new. Could you please write the word “NEW” or put the date next to them when you add more. That will make finding the new link alot easier.

I hope you don’t mind me butting in but I only want to make things easier for everyone.

Thanks,
Peter

Good idea Peter, makes sense, I’ll add a date to any new sites that I post.

A useful web page for those that cant afford commercialy made tracks look at ,
gscaleghuffchuff.com

Old Dad, Add www.jigstones.com to your list. They carry stone and brick molds and a bunch of othe rcool stuff.

carpenter Matt

Hi Matt, your link has been added, thanks.

How about adding : http://www.nmia.com/~vrbass/steam/steamfaq.htm
Lots of info for live-steamers, and it’s by GR contributor Vance Bass!

This one isn’t completely train related, but I’ve used it more than I care to admit:
http://www.onlineconversion.com/
You can convert just about anything here (for free!)

Thanks Rene, I’ve already passed along your “conversion” site to a couple of non train people and posted both of your suggestions on the F.Y.I. thread.

Old dad, here’s a good one www.narrowtracks.com they have club and literature(Books) on alot of the narrow gauge lines in the U.S. Good prototype stuff.

Thanks Matt i’ve posted your narrow tracks link, it looks like a very good one.
OLD DAD

Old dad, Here’s one www.humpyards.com really cool switching levers.

Hay Matt; your link doesn’t work any ideas why not?

OLD DAD,
The link should be www.humpyard.com. These are really neat. Plan on ordering some next week. Will post how I like em’ when I get em’! Later eh…Brian.
