You might get more views of your videos if you park them at a site such as Trainboard or Photobucket, which allow viewings without having to join the site.
I post mine to youtube for the same reason…free access. I have a ‘thing’ against facebook and the other two popular forms of social networking lately. I don’t go there.

My wife uses facebook but I stay away from it, and all of the social networks. The other day someone asked me what a “tweet” was and I couldn’t explain it. But, that’s just me and it is pretty obvious that facebook is a hugely popular social venue, it just isn’t my cup of tea.

HMMM, the last time this was brought up I thought it was going to be the start of WW3. I’m staying out of it this time, lol. Just for the record though, the NMRA uses Twitter.

A little clarification; with rare exceptions, this site does NOT host videos or photos; you have to ‘park’ them on another site (Facebook is not compatible!) like the ones I mentioned, there are others, and insert them as a link.
I face book but only those who I know. An enforcement Officer recently told me if a crime is committed the police will do an audit on the suspect’s facebook and therefore all “friends” are subjected to scrutiny.
As for posting video’s I am part of a small chat group and if I post using Youtube… It gets U-G-A-L-Y! Some of the guys have downloaded videos containing viruses. They would rather you download on Photobucket or other sites as mentioned.
Not to dampen your enthusiasm, Frustrating isn’t it.

I have no problems with Facebook,but I don’t put my life history on there either,I hsve my own page plus one for my North American Rail Alliance modeling group.
I also do not play all those silly games on Facebook either.[:)]
