My HO “Hollow Run” layout has a 36" Dia. half circle that was made from 1/8 X 4" fir glued up face to face to form a 1X4 curved half circle. The facia will be in the inside of the curve ( to make room for my big belly :=) ) My foam sticks above this so I would like to install a facia that will conform to the 18" radius.Any ideas will be appreciated.

1/8" Masonite hardboard is a good choice–sturdy, inexpensive, and bendable to 18" given a little care. Make sure you have points on the layout base to attach the Masonite securely to wood.
