Failure of the Bachmann 44902 EZ Command DCC Control System

I have had my EZ Command for several years and it’s been great. Normally when something is wrong with it, it flashes like crazy and lets you know. I have had several shorts over time and all I have done is made the correction and back to work it goes.

It has been 6 years since your post here but was hoping you are still around. My question is what are the "typical’ reasons you had the flashng lights? I have the same problem on my 44901 and so far found nothing.
