In my town of Cuero, and elsewhere in south Texas, it seems that all the hype these days is about our famous southern Fallen Flags. What are some popular fallen flags in your state or immediate area?
B&O,Pennsy,NYC,Nickle Plate,AC&Y,C&O,N&W,Conrail,Amtrak(at least thru Akron),and the original W&LE.And there was a lot of little industrial roads in Cleveland and Youngstown that are no more.
Erie, LV, DL&W, Conrail, and EL
Big Four, Pennsey, Wabash, Lake Erie and Western, Cinicinnati Hamilton & Dayton, Monon, Penn Central, Louisville & Nashville

Here in Illinois, folks mourn over the loss of the Soo Line, Rock Island, Chicago and Northwestern, Conrail and Wisconsin Central to name a few
Where I grew up(Dayton,Oh) it was the Chessie System(B&O),Conrail,before that Penn Central,PRR,NYC,EL,Erie,DT&I on trackage rights after formation on Conrail. Where I’m at now(east central Ky) it’s Seaboard System,SCL/LN Family Lines,L&N.
