What happened at all to the triple crossing at 16th and dock streets in Richmond Va[:)][:)][:D][8D][?]
Still there, AFAIK. Other than the former Southern branch line on the lowest level, those are important main lines for CSX.
OK, now you have my interest up and running. Can anyone give us a link or show us some pics of this crossing?
What is this crossings “claim to fame”? [?]
I am not sure if I have heard of it or not. [B)]
Railfan Magazine had a feature on the crossing, with a night photo shoot there, possibly during a convention n Richmond. It might have been ten years ago, however!
I think it was on the cover, though, so it would be easy to find if you have the magazine!
Try checking an on-line index, if they have one!

Jim,
Sorry, I’m a bit slow at the moment.
It’s famous because the tracks all cross at different levels, one on the ground level and the other two on bridges. When built they were of course three different railroads, but one is now NS and the other two CSX.
There have been a number of posed photos taken there over the years.
I believe it is fairly close to the old down town Richmond station, which may be revived (or so I heard), possibly for light rail(?).
