Fast Tracks tie height

hey, i was just wondering if anyone here knows how close the Fast Tracks TwistTies match the Micro Engineering wooden HO ties and their flextrack ties?

I have both on hand.

Will a visual check be okay or would you like me to open a package and use a micrometer?

1/16 and 1/32 as per the web site

I too am curious and waiting for a definitive answer on the relative tie height.

Spacemouse, you don’t, by chance, have the Code 70 #7 pointform tool do you?

i need that… but i really don’t have the justifiable funds available right now to outright buy it. I’d be willing to rent it for money from anyone who does have it

Sorry, but a #6 or # 8 should be close enough. Also code 83 and code 70 are interchangable so that opens your options.
