I am new to this hobby. I have a question about remote Fastrack switches. Do you need TMCC if you want to use remote switches? Thank You.

No. The switches use a switch with transformer or track power to energize.
A separate TMCC controller can be obtained that will allow TMCC to be used to control the switches as long as the switches have the capability to be remotely switched electrically.
Some switches are labeled “manual.” This means you use a mechanical control to physically change the direction of the switch.
