FastTrack track planning app?

Is there an app or something for track planning with Lionel’s FastTrack? I’m wanting to expand my current loop of track but want to make sure what I have in mind fits before going out and buying more track.

You could try Trackplanner. It’s reliable, though pretty sparse on features. There’s also Trax, which has a ton of features but is quite glitchy, in my experience. Both are free. Both have Lionel Fastrack, though Trax has the good ol’ tubular track (both standard O and O27), too.

I used SCARM for both my Lionel Fastrack layout, and my Kato Unitrack HO planning. It’s ok. I mean, it works. Both track types have enough “wiggle” to make up for minor misalignments, and the program doesn’t really accept that. Certainly for the Lionel, which was much simpler, it worked pretty well.

AnyRail has a free version with an extensive track library.

Agree. AnyRail is what I use. It’s free if less than 50 pieces of track is used. After that you get to buy the full program.
