If you railroad isn’t on here it doesn’t exist any more. BTW my favorite is BNSF

I’m an old shortline fan really, but as for class one’s I pick NS cause I love the paint job, they look cool!
I guess mine would be CSX - I have the most locos in that livery! I have a Bachmann Dash 8-44CW, a Walthers Dash 8-44B, an Athearn Dash 9 and an Athearn AC4400. I use these for run-through power on my museum line (which also hauls small amounts of revenue-earning freight traffic). I also like BNSF though - have a Dash 9 (dummy) in Warbonnet with BNSF lettering, as well as a few older SF locos (PA, F7, GP50) in the museum collection.

UP, then CSX, then BNSF.
There is no doubt that the NS is one of the leaders in the railroad industry. You just got to admire the way they move trains…I have railfan the NS for several years now and still get awestruck at the number of trains I seen during a normal railfan day.
If I have to pick one off the list, (PRR is my all time favorite) I’ll pick NS.

All bow down to the might U.P., lol
[bow][bow]AMTRAK[bow][bow] or is this just freight???
Csx is the local railroad and the one I go to see, so by process of elimination… But they do sometimes put on a good show. Being along the Southern Tier line in northern NJ,
It’s hard to be a big fan of NS.
BNSF
My favorite is UP, but I also like BNSF.
CP RAIL ALL THE WAY!!!
Well, out of that list I’ll have to say CN, but my true favourite railway is definitely VIA Rail Canada.
WHAT ???
The ROCK ISLAND is gone ???!!
NOT on MY layout !!!
Seriously,
I like the local regional RRs better:
I & M Raillink (now IC&E) and the Iowa Interstate (IAIS).
after that, AMTRAK !
CN is my favourite one. Its mainline is a few minutes away from my home; two branches run nearby. It has a lot of interesting rolling stock: Ultramar Tanktrain unit train, 125+ container cars; stuff from UP, BNSF and NS. Occasionnal “foreign” motive power from parent railroads (Wisconsin Central and Illinois Central) appears frequently. VIA trains with the Renaissance scheme run on their rails.
