Post pics of your favorite diesel on your layout. Also, how do you post pics so I can show my diesel?
Hey Big Blue,
[#welcome] to the MR forum! Just saw you in the CS a little earlier, you sure do get around alot for a newbie! LOL
Anyway, to post images you will need to upload files to any one of the free rail image sites or any web site that will allow you to save files for viewing. Then in the forum post you will need to use the “Forum Code” for images, it is a tag that you will need to put at each end of the URL address for the photo. See the Show Forum Code listed just to the left of the Quick Reply box, it has all the code tags you will be able to use. If you need more detailed instructions please email me on my listed address.
Cheers,
Ryan
Thank you SliverSpike! This is a bit off topic but I saw on your profle your a Katrina victim. South Florida has had its share of storms as well. Tommorow starts Hurricane season. Hope this ones not as bad as last year.
1.download your picture from a digital camera to a floppy disc. (make sure its a jpg or JPEG file).
2. find a website like shutterfly.com or photobucket.com and post the pic there from your disc.
3. once the picture is on your photo storage website, right click the mouse and go to “properties.”
4. click and drag to highlight the url address.
5.right click and choose “copy”.
6. go to this forum.
7. type in {img}“paste the url addressed picture here”{/img} use brackets instead of these { } …(if i try to type brackets the hypertext will try to read it like it would a picture so i typed { } instead)
8. the picture should show up here once all the above steps are completed when you submit it to the forum.

Hey CW Thanks for clearing that all up! I was trying to show the example, and it kept trying to put the text as a link, great idea using the {} instead of the brackets.
BigBlue Yes, we were in New Orleans during Katrina, that is why we moved to Wake Forest, NC in January, 120 miles from the coast. Shoud be safer here now! Yep, 2006 season starts tomorrow!
