The War of the Worlds - still my favorite. A remake is supposedly in the works… we’ll see
Alien - probably the last horror movie that really scared me!
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Frankenstein
Dracula - the Bela Lugosi version
Forbidden Planet
Star Wars - The first one (episode 4) is still my favorite
Dirty Harry
Dr No
Animal House
I could probably keep updating this list ad infinitum. I’m sure there’s a few great flicks I’m not thinking of now.

You’re right. “Who Cares” was made in 1925 by Paramount and starred Clara Bow, William Boyd (who later became ‘Hopalong Cassidy’ )and Richard Arlen. It was about two rival firemen, one on the Broadway Limited, the other on the 20th Century Limited and their love for the girl that ran the interlocking out of Chicago. The climax was a tremenduous train wreck that killed them both because the girl decided the heck with it and left the interlocking tower at a crucial point in the film to run off with a young Gary Cooper.
