I voted Running Trains, though I am more into operations, also I really enjoy finding out a new or re-invented way to do something from scratch with things around the house for almost $0 that in the store is $20 or more.

Number one, I LOVE RUNNING THE TRAINS! That’s why you build a layout, so you can run trains in some way. Steam, turbine, electric, diesel, it’s all good. In circles, or around the room, either way, I love to run my trains.
And secondly, I LOVE TO COME UP WITH IDEAS. Not just for a layout, but trains as a whole. I love drawing trains, train-related items, et cetera. It is just something for my creativity to flow to, to develop in, and so on.
There ya go, they’re my favorites.[:D]
I like it all. Some days I might not want to do this, but I can always do that instead. I t doesn’t get boring.
I had to go with all of the above. Unless your only a collector, all that we do is to run trains.
I will go through phases of what interests me at that time, whether an F unit kick, super detailing locos or structures, or to build bridges and do some scenery.
It’s all part of the fun of the hobby.

Getting to run mini versions of my favorite steam engines and weathering EVERYTHING are my favorite parts. Its great.
