I posted this just to see which roads are the most popular. (some of these roads have merged but I still added them)[:D]
Nice to have you aboard, UPjohn. I voted for Espee.
I vote for the Pennsy.
Canadian Pacific here!
Welcome John [:)]

Check my sig:
Hi UP john,
[#welcome]
I voted UP, but that is a risk on these fora, altough the UP bashing died out a bit over the last weeks
(that is why my sig is censored)
I didn’t vote because you didn’t put my two favorites on here. They are, the New York Central and the New Haven.
Ohhhhh, It hasn’t died yet, There are just more interesting things to talk about, but bring up the UP RR and all the storm clouds gather, the lightning starts, the thunder rolls, the rain comes down in sheets, and tornados rips wide swaths thru out the land, people dive for shelter in vain as they’re suck up into the funnels, houses, cars, planes, trains, and all sorts of things are ripped apart and thrown around, leaving a path of complete destruction, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the beginning of recorded history.[:D][:D]
But thats ok, I still like UP’s turbines and their E Unit but not much else.
Mine would have to be the CNW, CB&Q, CSX and Amtrak - also like Metrolink. As my layout depicts a museum I can run pretty much anything, so I tend to buy on the basis of likeing the look of a loco or car.
out of all of them in the poll i went with BNSF.
my favorite all time though is either Burlington Northern or Great Northern.
Welcome John . I couldn’t vote either as my road is C.N.But I am interested in any railroads. I love them all especially Santa Fe passenger. rambo1…
You forgot the Canadian National. Its a class 1 railroad too that operates all over canada and parts of the United states I think you should go back and add it as a voting option.
my favorites are:
Queensland Rail, a class 1 narrow gauge railroad
Pacific National, a class 1 railroad
and Australia Railroad Group
I’m an Amtrak fan. It is the primary presence on my layout. 2 E8’s, 1 E9 and 3 F7’s most of the time with several cars. The freight varies with my other favorites. BN, RI, ATSF, UP and MKT. Started modeling them I think before 1980.
RMax
ERIE-------------- of course!!!
UNION PACIFIC! Big Boys, Gas Turbines, 9000’s, this RR has it all.
PRR from your list, also like the Ma & PA and the Maine two footers.
Enjoy
Paul
I voted for . . .
Oh wait, no CB&Q![:(]
I of course voted Conrail. If you disagree, think about spending 8 years of life with Conrail then Norfolk Southern takes them over.
