Favorite toy train

What is your favorite toy train from this list

[A] Lionel Bi-polar

[B] MTH 2-10-0 Decapod

[C] K-Line Plymouth/ Porter Switcher

[D] Ready Made Toys Beep/ Beef

[E] Any toy train - answer with the letter and the toy train that is your favorite

[F] All of the above

If B is a Pennsy engine, then I’ll go with that, if not, just about any train( as long as it’s STEAM!)

E. Lionel 2046. Great runner, great smoker, great puller.

Hey Semaphores, Nitroboy is a good person to ask about business plans/startigies as he has a business making telaphone poles.

I thought about making some operating accessories for tinplaters but have not the money, time or skills to do it[sigh]

My favorite train is a toss up between the MTH OSU train set or my Chessie&Conrail BEEPS[:D]

Most definately “E”

Well, it seems to me you’re trying to make a purchase decision, so I’ll join the minority and say [B], if you are refering to the Premier line version. I don’t own one myself, but several people have told me good things about it. If you’re on a tight budget, I’d go with the K-Line Plymouth.

[E] Although Im probably in the minority I’ve always had soft spot for the Lionel Santa-Fe alcos.I have all but one that was ever made.Someday I’ll find the Green one.

Ed

Yes, [B] is a steam locomotive and is a Pennsylvania R.R. train.

F. All of the above

I would say F, since I don’t own any of them and like them all… as far as favorites… typically that is reserved for my latest purchase, which is the C&O 0-8-0 pictured below, and will probably be hard to beat out because it is the first steamer I have owned with fan driven smoke… truely a work of art!

E. While I like PRR and BNSF, nothing is more elegant than the NYC Hudson. I also like it in its Dreyfuss version.
