Feather River Trains... A class operation

Some of you know Chuck Ciaccio, a.k.a. Chulvis, of Feather River Trains, from the other forums. Or, he might be your Facebook friend.

I ordered some track components and paint from him earlier this month. Everything arrived quickly and in great shape. Just one minor glitch, though… I’d received a slightly different shade of brown PolyScale paint I didn’t even notice until I started using it.

Not only did Chuck make good QUICKLY (hey, I already appeared to have gotten a free jar of paint from the deal), he tossed in a bonus. An Atlas Trainman caboose. Not just any… Conrail! In a road number I don’t have!

So here’s a hobby dealer who not only takes customer service seriously, but gets to know his customers and their modeling interest. Sure, Chuck sees me post about Pennsy and Conrail, but still… He remembered my roadname.

Bravo, Chuck, and thanks! I’ll be sending more business your way.

Sounds like that ought to be how it’s one in business. I’ll have to check him out more and see what he has that I can’t live without!

He’s the only dealer with a free ad on my website. Western Maryland, Western Pacific… same difference!

I’ve gotten a couple of nifty “extras” in my Chuck Packs over the years, too. I really like MB Klein, being a local, but it’s nice send money to Chuck knowing that I don’t have to send 6% of it to the goons in Annapolis!

I agree chuck is the best… I love wearing my offical FRT hat when I go train shows, or just to hobby shops…
