February 07 Issue - MIA or just late? UPDATE - Arrived Today (1/17/07)

Typically my next issue of MR arrives just before or during the first week of the month.

So far it is MIA in the mail, and according to the MR website they are going to be on newstands on Tuesday, Jan 9th.

Anyone got their February 2007 issue in the mail yet?

FINAL FOLLOW-UP: I sent Kalmbach Customer Service an email shortly after posting this thread explaining my delima, and a day later I got a response back that another issue would be sent out and delivered within 7 - 10 business days.

Happy to report that the February 07 issue along with the Model Railroad Planning 2007 special issue I had ordered way back also arrived today.

Thanks MR staff and Kalmbach Customer Service for responding to and filling my request.

I got mine saturday.

its a great issuesimply becauseof chuck hitchcock’s argentine switching layout!

I’ve had mine for almost a week already – something may definitely be amiss with yours. If you don’t receive it this coming week, you might want to contact MR and ask for a replacement copy.

I got mine right after Christmas![:)]

Got mine on the 30th, right on schedule. It looked really nice, cuddled up with my copy of Scale Rails in the mailbox.

My daughter supposedly got me a MR subscription for Christmas, did it all online - haven’t received any issues yet. Hope the transaction didn’t fall thru the cracks…

I was about to ask this very same question as I have yet to receive mine. What is funny is that my local hobby store had them on his counter last Thursday for sale.

I got mine BEFORE Christmas. HA!

Modelers in my area didn’t get their issue until Friday, the 5th. Yet, modelers I know 20 miles away got theirs back in December.

There was no mail delivery for 3 days in a row, Sunday, Monday (New Year’s Day) and Tuesday (President Ford’s funeral) so mail got backed up.

I got mine last week.

I got mine last week, although it was alll wet from the snow. What happened to the nice plastic bag it used to come in?

I resubscribed to the mag back in late Nov. With the Holidays and Fords funeral that put the mail delivery back a couple of days for the Hoosier Amish Cornbelt Airways! I just hope I get it the next couple of days of this coming week!

I got mine ont the 30th. I was pleasantly surprised becuase mine usually comes on the 2nd or 3rd, and the Feb issue is usually later due to mail volume over the holidays.

Call Kalmbach if you’re concerned. They are really good about sending replacements first class. You’ll probably get it within the week for no cost.

You might want to nose around at the post office. Somebody there might be a model railroader and the reason why your issue is late. LOL

I usually get my copy between the 28th and 30th of the month. February issue arrived on Wednesday, so it was probably delayed by the holiday and President Ford’s funeral. When my issue is really late, I mention it to my postal carrier. The issue usually arrives within 2 days! Coincidence? Could be. LOL

As already mentioned, Kalmbach will replace it if you call them.

Mine made it across the Atlantic, wrapped in plastic and in mint condition, and ended up in my mailbox this friday. I usually get my issues by the first week of the month, and I haven’t experienced one delayed issue since I received my first allmost five years ago…
