Ryan, my MR arrived Saturday just a couple days late. I attribute the lateness to the holidays and Ford’s funeral.
Jeff, if those mags were snuggleling together in your mailbox you better keep an eye on them. You may have a litter of Scale Railroaders running around soon. Of course, they may look better on the layout than plastic people. [:-^]
i have just received the january 07 issue yesterday. i am a subscriber and usually the latest edition arrives first week of the month even as far as down under. i thought i was having a ‘senior moment’ when i saw the month on the cover. well, i will wait another week…
Just got mine today, about 2 weeks later than usual.
My Trains and Scale Rails kept each other company in the mailbox on Saturday, the 30th; my MR has, apparently, taken a vacation to the southern reaches of the Marquessas Islands. I emailed Kalmbach and explained that I was confident that it had been lost in the mail because in six years residency at this current address you could count on the fingers of one hand the number of times they - Trains and Model Railroader have not arrived simultaneously.

I took out a subscription at the beginning of December and am yet to receive my first edition. How long does it usually take for the first issue to arrive?
FINAL FOLLOW-UP: I sent Kalmbach Customer Service an email shortly after posting this thread explaining my delima, and a day later I got a response back that another issue would be sent out and delivered within 7 - 10 business days.
Happy to report that the February 07 issue along with the Model Railroad Planning 2007 special issue I had ordered way back also arrived today.
Thanks MR staff and Kalmbach Customer Service for responding to and filling my request.
