February 2012 Issue of Model Railroader

I just received my February 2012 issue and it appears to be missing a section of pages and is doubled up on a corresponding section. Anyone else have this happen before? I’ve e-mailed the company today but as I’m on the Left Coast they were already closed when I sent it.

Dan, I had a bad copy about 2 years ago. MRR was very quick to send out a replacement issue when I contacted them. They will for sure take care of you.

Thanks for your replies Steven and Simon, I received an e-mail today already from Megan at Customer Service and they are sending out a new issue. [:D] I appreciate the quick service from them.

I got an e-mail from Jenny within 24 hrs, and I too am getting a new copy! Good service here, thanks Jenny and Kalmbach!

I wonder if screwed up MRR Magazines become as valuable as screwed up currency and stamps.

Kalmbach is very good about sending a replacement. About two year ago, I did not recieve my copy. I emailed customer service and they sent a replacement out real quick, no questions asked.

Hhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe I’ll run it down south to Vegas and take it to Rick or the Old Man at Silver and Gold Pawn. They know a guy…

That’s like the postage stamp many many years ago in which the biplane was printed upside down.

Brent is right. Hold onto that issue. It is likely to be worth hundreds of thousands, if not millions. [;)]

I’ve the same problem with my February 2012 issue.

Hope I get a new one from customer service. I’ve allready sent an email.

Mine hasn´t even arrived yet.

My experience is that Kalmbach’s customer service is excellent. I get both Trains and MR magazines, and normally they arrive on the same day. A few months ago, my Trains showed up without MR. I waited a week and then e-mailed Kalmbach. They sent a replacement MR the next day. Four days later, BOTH copies of MR showed up on the same day!

You’ll get your issue. Never fear.

Well, by replacement arrive while I was in Prince George during the week, much sooner than the 3 weeks promised by Jenny. Sent air-mail! Thanks again Kalmbach.
