If you don’t like them so what. It is a good thought.
Very ugly!
Pink and blue do not mix. Not really sure what works with pink. Except an old Cadillac. But don’t worry. In less than 5 years the pink will be faded to a very light pinkish white with rust. Sunshine does that sort of thing to paint.
Good one Matthew!
Its great to see the railroads gain prominence in the public’s eye. Good job FEC!
You don’t see pink locomotives everyday!
very, very nice gesture FEC
Went to a NASCAR event in Las Vegas back in 2002 where the breast cancer awareness booth was placed next to the Playboy booth … ironic.
Two locomotives … makes perfect sense.
That’s a classy act.
I like UP’s better
How '[bout some solid pink units to promote homosexual marriage? Don’t want money from my FIG holdings to do that. Let Caltrans do it.
I like 'em- and for a very worthy cause. Even used the heritage font- very nice!
Colors are a bit much but the idea is very worthy. The crews may take a while to accept them!
William D Hays, your comment is reprehensible and does NOT belong in this forum. Leave your comments to Fox News.
The fellow from Montana is beginning to sound a lot like the fellow from Illinois. Really, fellows, take it somewhere else.
To all of you sexist and gay haters, I hope and pray that none of your female family members or friends never get cancer! It would have been great if more railroads had painted at least one engine pink.
Breast cancer took one of the women in my family, so anything that promotes awareness is fine by me. These engines are sure to draw lots of attention. That said, do these locos remind any of the other 60ish readers of the pink steam engine Lionel sold in the '50s in a bid to draw girls into the model railroading hobby?
Apparently, William D Hays is either a troll or just eager to get into a fight with the world.
Thank you FEC for showing support for such a worthy cause! Personnaly, I like the scheme. Only color that looks better with pink than blue would be purple.
