Federal Railroad Administration to conduct 45-day safety investigation of Metra
I hope for Metra it is not using employment methods that have been used in other big city govt entities to hire folks, experience should be the main employment criteria I would hope they are using. As far as safety, Metra is one of, if not the safest Comm RR out there. I have used it a lot when I lived in Chicago. It is a superior service. I think its just a fluke for safety’s sake.
