Ferdinand Magellan?

I have the OMI Truman era Ferdinand Magellan, which has never been run and have been thinking of selling it. Has anyone seen one for sale and how much it sold for? Any info would help.

I can’t help you with any specificity but E Bay bid prices are way down over last year and will probably remain down for some time. I expect you will see a price far less than you paid for it with the economy in it’s current and foreseeable condition. You might want to hang on to it for awhile.

I recall seeing one listed on eBay some months back. I don’t remember how much it sold for, but have a vague impression it went for lots of hundreds of dollars ($500 to $1000+?). If just two people out there really want it, you should get an excellent price. (You know, the second-highest bidder sets the final price. Sellers, when they get a good price, should really thank the 2nd place bidder, not the high bidder.)

I HAVE SEEN TWO OF THEM ON EBAY IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS BELOW IS WHAT THEY SOLD FOR. IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHOS LOOKING. BRASS IS SELLING FOR A LOT LESS NOW. THE ODDS OF YOU MAKING YOUR MONEY BACK ARE SLIM, THAT CAR BY BRIAN IS NOT ONE OF THE BIG SELLERS, LIKE THE PRESIDENTAL COMMUNICATIONS CAR WAS. SORRY, BUT IF YOU ARE WANTING TO GET BIG $$$ OUT OF IT YOU ARE PROBABLY GOING TO BE WITH IT FOR AWHILE.

NO PROBLEM. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT COMES TO EBAY. THE TIME YOU DON’T THINK IT WILL SELL YOU MIGHT HAVE 2 GUYS WHO WANT IT BAD. THEN YOU GET YOUR ASKING PRICE AND MORE. IT HAPPENS.
