I didn’t realize that the London Plant has been on strike sinse Jan 1st. I’m willing to bet that Muncie is going to be the future assembly Plant for all EMD Locomotives.

It’s about time that EMD regains the number 1 spot from GE.

Saw two of these locomotives (#4095 & #4096) on the fuel pad in the NS yards in New Haven before the holidays. Beautiful paint scheme; proud to say they’re made in America, built right here in Indiana.

i saw one of these locomotives hauling a BNSF intermodal train
in Kansas City.

I saw one of these leading a BNSF train on December 30th in Rochelle, IL. It was too dark to catch the road number, but it certinally looked brand new.

I saw one of these on the point of a BNSF train in Fort Worth, TX last weekend.

Yea for the great State of Indiana, the USA, and Caterpillar EMD’s new owner !

Hopefully more will come out from Muncie.Get more business from Erie

Doesn’t look as if EMD has changed - London, Ontario Employees locked out after refusing a 50% wage cut! or they will build Locomotives in Muncie or Mexico - They say they can’t get employees in Muncie - Maybe its because they are only paying $12.00 - $14.50 per Hour!!! Bet they haven’t reduced the price of those SD70ACe’s

Doesn’t look as if EMD has changed - The latest from EMD in London Ontario - January 1, 2012 - employees Locked out after refusing Catepillar’s offer of a 50% wage reduction - or they will build Locomotives in Muncie & Mexico - By the way Progress Rail said they couldn’t get workers in Muncie - MAYBE IT’S BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY PAYING $12.00 - $14.50 PER HOUR!!!

Which US road has leased Ferromex and for how long? It is good to see US motive power being delivered south of the border. At least while the Ferromex lease is in effect the locomotives will be properly maintained. I do hope there is an option for renewal of the lease from the Mexican government.
