HAS ANYONE EVER USED FIBER OPTICS FOR LIGHTING AND IF YOU HAVE HOW WELL DOES IT WORK? hAVEN`T SEEN IT MENTIONED ANYWHERE. i HAVE NOT SEEN USED EITHER BUT THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE KIND OF INTERESTING.

I have not taken the fiber optic plunge yet but I have been researching the idea for awhile. I’m interested to try flaring fibers to see what effect it has on the amount/pattern of light. Of course if more light is needed use a larger fiber or add more of the fibers. If a more diffuse light rather than pinpoint light is desired this is where the flaring could be useful. Just my [2c]
