Again, I ask the Trains editor to scan these comments and delete those that have nothing to do with the article, and which appear multiple times. What does a 2015 Linclon funeral train have do with anything here? Is anyone at Trains reading these comments? I wonder.
The Lincoln Funeral Train did not run over the Stewartstown RR, but it did pass through New Freedom, PA which is at the west end of the Stewartstown line. Also in the past the Stewartstown RR had been the designated operator on the remaining segment of the Northern Central from New Freedom up to Shrewsbury and York, PA, so there is a possible connection here to the 2015 Lincoln Funeral Train project. There is a famous picture of the funeral train at Hanover Jct, PA which is on this segment of the Northern Central, so I’m pretty sure that the funeral train operators would want to bring the train to New Freedom, at least.
