Final track laid for England’s Bluebell Railway extension

This is a great achievement for the Bluebell line. If you have not visited it then plan on it next time you are in England. This is one of the best tourist line in the world. Now you will be able to catch a train from London, change at East Grinstead for a wonderful steam experience!

Congratulations to the dauntless volunteers of the Bluebell Railway on their great accomplishment.

Congratulations, and well done! The Bluebell Line is one of the finest restored lines in Britain, and is well worth a visit.

So happy to hear this.

The Bluebell is a lovely way to spend a day, it’s a gem.

What great news. The Bluebell Railway is one of Britain’s oldest preservation era “light railways” and deserves special attention from anyone and everyone. While I have yet to experience one of its trains or even visit its line, I have nevertheless armchair followed its unfolding saga since the late 1960s and commend the management and volunteers and district governments that have brought the railway to this splendid point of its evolution. Kudos!
