Finally, A HO McKeen Car!

Funaro and Camerlengo announced a HO Scale body for a 55’ McKeen Motorcar at the NMRA show in Detroit this weekend. I know there were many people that were waiting for a model of one of these cars (including me!).

Looks great - any info as to what chassis etc to go with it?[8D]

Nice looking body. I have one of the old Ken Kidder brass 55’ McKeen cars, which had to be remotored to become a dependable piece. Developing an accuate chassis & power unit may be difficult, as McKeens had wheels of different diameters on that front power truck. Still, my guess is that a Bachmann Spectrum “doodlebug” chassis may be able to be modified into something suitable, even if it wasn’t completely accurate on the configuration of that front power truck.
