After a week of frustration, I think I’ve finally got a website up for the model rr. Anyway, if anyone’s interested in seeing what I’ve been doing for a while, you can type in Picturetrail.com/Hoofus and it should take you to the site. I’m not that much of a photographer, but at least it gives you a view of what I’ve got done and how much MORE I’ve still got to do (whew!). Anyhow, if any of you decide to take a peek, let me know, good or bad (I’m strong, I can take it, sob, sob!).

Nice layout! I’d like to see some day. Where is Carmichael in CA?

Very nice indeed. I really enjoy looking at other peoples layout progress. Those are great photo’s btw. You are a master of the scenery that’s for sure

Bet ya to it Tim (Turbo one) sorry
Ken.
Nice job! Love the steam on the high bridges and hugging the rocky cliffs.

Nice layout, Thomas! How long is that freight car in the 3rd pic - 60’? What is your minimum radii? Did I notice a yellow Atlas water tower - the one you are so fond of - in the distance, up against the mountain?
Anyhow, you’re doin’ a great job! Keep it up and keep us posted. [:)] I agree with the other guys: provide a hyperlink for your layout in your profile. I know you don’t consider yourself very computer savvy but It’s really not that difficult to do.
Tom
Thanks for the kind words, Tom–the freight car is actually an Intermountain 40-footer, like I said, I’m not that great a photographer, and the angle makes it look longer. I’m trying to cut and paste the website up, but so far my computer is saying HUH? I’ll keep trying though.
Tom
thanks, BNSF. Carmichael’s a little bedroom community between Sacramento and Roseville. I’m lucky, because both cities have really GREAT model railroad stores, Bruce’s in Sacramento and Railroad Hobbies in Roseville. Spoils me rotten, I very seldom have to send away for stuff!

Nice Layout twhite[8D]
Really nice work on the scenary!
Amazing… I looked on in awe. I love all the elevation in yours. You gave some great ideas for my next lay out that for sure. Incredible scenry. Love all the trees and different foliage types as well. You made those steamers look mighty good.
Congrats!
Best Regards

Great website! With postings like this, I can see the same type of fantastic pictures I used to only find in MR - without having to be tempted by a barrage of ads for things I can’t afford[;)]. Hope more people will follow your lead…
Great pics Tome, great modeling. Keep up the great work and keep posting pics.
Jeff

Great job,on both the layout and pictures![:D]
Very nice! I really like that 2-8-8-4! Is it scratch built or is it a brass model?
Very nice! Sure makes me wi***hat I had a bit more room so I could get the height that you did over the river, etc. Great job.
