Just wanted to share that.

Neat pix [:o)][:D][:)]

Way-to-go, take a bow. Nice photo! And thanks for sharing it with all of us. Looking forward to more.

Jim

Good picture, hope all us of can look forward to seeing
more of them.

Well…I have no respect for that website but I know they are tight @$$es and hard to get one accepted so…Congrats!

Great shot[:)][:D][8D][:p][bow]!!!

Brian - an interesting angle, [;)][:)] it highlights the wear and tear the paint work has been receiving (especially the yellow areas). Would they ever repaint a diesel of that vintage?

I like the way the shadow falls across the front, right down the middle. [:)]

Dave

Cool!

I managed to get two pics up there in the last two days.

First time I tried since last May. I’ve got 3 up there total. I think the trick for me was to crop the pictures so that the train fills more of the image. And I’m also only submitting one at a time. Last time I tried, I submitted about 10 with no cropping or cleaning up and they rejected them all. Made me feel kind of bad for a few days.

Great photo’s. I just sick a tired of the *** pop up’s[:(!].

Thanks for the compliments. Hopefully will have some more to share in the future.

Brian

Congrats on your shot being most viewed yesterday. Very nice shot.

One question on the circus train. I’ve been seeing ads about the circus coming to State College and was wondering where they stored the train while the circus was in town.

Congrats again on your shots!

Brian

Go to to Google they have a wonderful pop up blocker [:o)][:D][:p]

Hey, thanks!

The circus train was stored in three places. The livestock cars were set across college avenue (PA rte. 26) from the Nittany Mall, which is as close to the Bryce Jordan Center as possible for unloading. The elephants and horses still had to walk about 3.5 miles from there. The flatcars were stored 2 miles farther away on the same line at the grade crossing of rte. 26 near Rockview prison. That was a good spot for them to pull the trailers off the flatcars. The rest of the train was parked in two or three sections in the Bellefonte railyard. The circus train is easily the most complicated train the Nittany & Bald Eagle ever handles. This was the third time Ringling has come to town in the last seven years.
