Finally started on my Conrad Yelvington GP30

After several years of delay I have started work on my replica of the GP30 located at the facility in Sanford, Florida. I have the basic paint job applied and after a little touch up I will be adding the decals. It appears from photos that there is a steel plate welded or bolted to the pilots below the coupler pockets with some yellow safety striping I still need to fabricate. I also need to obtain some ditch lights to finish the project but I haven’t determined which detail part is closest to the prototype.

Excellent! Keep us updated. The GP30 is one of my favorites.

(When I was a kid, I always thought it looked like it was wearing a hat.)
