Finding Source for Damaged Steam Loco's

This may not be the appropriate place to ask this particular question, but what the heck! I have a specific request. Where can I advertise to try to locate whole, or broken, or damaged, or with missing pieces Varney Berkshire locomotives manufactured between 1958 and 1963. I have two, but would like to find more. I use parts of the locotives to build new locomotives. The bismuth/lead (I think) boilers melt down and recast nicely, and the quartering Varney used on the drivers is good for an idiot like me. Can I advertise here? Have I just advertised here? Any help is appreciated.

You can’t advertise here, but if you’re looking for Varney basket cases, the Yardbird Classic Trains group on Yahoo may be just what you’re looking for. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yardbirdtrains/?yguid=71526938

Broken Tie, Andre is correct…the forum rules put announcements of a sales or buying nature out of bounds, generally, although we try to accommodate expressions of need provided that’s as far as it goes and the resultant transactions/discussions proceed via email or private messages…off line. The rules for the forum are posted in the bold links at the end of the ‘blurb’ describing the nature of each of the forums on the main index page.
