Finding the correct Font (Typeface)

For those interested, I just finished an attempt at a Genesee&Wyoming logo font. My website is www.railsimstuff.com - font: DECOWHY

When I’m looking for fonts I go to http://webpagepublicity.com/FREE-FONTS.HTML , but be prepared to spend some time looking for what you want. They claim to have 6500 free fonts. I went with Railroad Roman for my SP font.

I suspect that’s a bit of hysteria; the issue is that the security certificate is not fully ‘modern’ (even though not set to expire until 2021.

Simeone more ‘up’ on current Web security might be able to explain why Starfield is not a ‘trusted’ provider of credentials, or if the certificate is indeed invalid or faked. My experience is usually that the webmaster hasn’t updated the thing ‘timely’ or hasn’t changed to the latest and greatest security implementation, rather than, say, the evil result of a cabal of Russian Fancy Bear hackers and Chinese government cyberoperatives keen on bringing down America hijacking a free font site or dangling free stuff as bait to corrupt your system for botnets or what-all.
