Welcome !

On the right side of the page, scroll down past the ads, about 1/2 way, and look for the box that says “Search the Community”.

Type in what your looking for. You can narrow the search from there.

The search function here isn’t the greatest. It’s often better to go to Google and type cs.trains + kadee coupler install. By starting with cs.trains +, the links at the top of the search results should all be from this site.

The seach function here is pretty lame. I do believe the techies for the software here are gone. The last software update was pretty bad.

I use Google and sometimes include trains.com words.

I have found many links to these forums using Google.

Might take a little time.

Rich

You can restrict a Google search to a specific website by adding “site:” and the web address as a search term, with no spaces between them. To search the Forums, include “site:cs.trains.com”.

Welcome to the forums!

For your particular question on Kadee couplers, you can go to their website. They have a section on conversions. There is a list of locos, sketches with any modifications needed and the coupler you should use.

Good luck,

Richard

Welcome!

On another note, if you want to readily find a thread in the future, you can click the Add to Favorites bubble near the title at the top. Note that past Favorites thus saved can be accessed (alpha listing) on the right by clicking Favorites (near your name and profile stuff). These are your favorites within the forum(s), not the also familiar Internet Explorer favorities (if you use IE).
