Completing the first ever scratch built structure. I designed the structure loosely after an ag warehouse in Boessvain, MB I photographed this summer. The structure is painted with Floquil paint that had been my in paint supply box for at least 40 years. Pretty impressed the paint was still fluid and not full of lumps. I have also finally figured out how to post a picture so below is the structure next to an old Campbell’s elevator kit built back in the early 70’s when the price on the kit was a lot more reasonable than today.

That’s a nice debut into scratchbuilding! it reminds me of an ag warehouse that was part of a feed mill in my home town. It was not served by rail, as it was across the street from the siding, but if positioned next to the grain elevator (nice job on that too!), boxcars could be spotted next to it for bagged goods, such as feed supplemenhts or other ag supplies.
Jim!
That’s pretty good for a first project. Congratulations!

I like it. Good work! That water tower to the left looks a little modern, though… [;)]
Nice work, and it looks good alongside that grain elevator!
