Congratulations to Steve and his team on this official kickoff to another 15 years of steam!
This will be a great opportunity to see both locomotives in steam before 2719’s certificate expires later this year.

I bought and paid for the digital Classic Trains and the digital Trains but as yet have not discovered a way to bring them up.

Now that 261 is back in service and 4449 is down for its 15 year inspection/repairs, it would be great if Amtrak & BNSF could see about sending 261 to the Pacific Northwest for an extended excursion similar to when 4449 went back to Owasso. All of us Milwaukee fans out here would love to see her out strutting her stuff on BNSF’s main lines pulling employee specials & possible excursions.
I saw the 2719 last year in Duluth on a run by, Beautiful!! I have also been tracking the progress on the 261 and have visited the shop many times in the last 5 years. This will be the event of a lifetime, I can not wait!!!
