Not much for posting pics online, but here goes nothing…
the fleet thus far…
view from the entry…
staging tracks and mainline up to helix (once the plants go back outside)
and the operator’s station (for the moment). You can also see the end of the pusher station at the bottom, there.
All of this is staging. The idea is to helix around the furnace up to the main level (about 14 inches up), then up to a second level and out of the room. Humble beginnings to be sure, but let’s see where it goes!

Oh, I almost forgot, here’s a pic of the problem switch, for those who graciously helped earlier in the “Argh!” thread.
Looks like they made it OK.
Nice Workmanship. It will serve you well!
Helix? Around the Furnace? Building Supt is already going into panic mode, and the fire inspector is licking his chops. The insurance guy is running in the other direction.

Yes, my Lion-shaped friend, I’ve had that thought. There’s plenty of room to leave 6" between the furnace and anything flammable, and no part of the furnace itself tops 100 degrees f. when it’s running full out (infrared heat guns are handy that way). Part of the head-scratching on this part was figuring out how to support the helix without blocking maintenance access. Got it mostly figured out…

PS Thanks for the compliment. Don’t look too close at my first soldering attempts!
