The interesting thing is that all this, and the North Star commuter line was originally encouraged by the Governor everyone loved making jokes about…the flamboyent ex-professional wrestler whose only previous political experience was as a suburban mayor…Jessie Ventura. I told my friends in California who were aghast at Arnold becoming their governor to not get too worried as Jessie wasn’t as bad as people feared he would be…and that prove true for Arnold as well…he encouraged California HSR…and for the record I’m a political liberal…praising a Republican Governor and and a “know nothing ex wrestler”…two men with vision in spite of their “oddness”.
It will nice when the central corridor is done. It’s like driving through a mine field of closed streets and detours on University Ave. near the U of M.
