First Op session.

On Tuesday I went to my first ever operating session at the house of one of my dad’s coworkers. I had never used DCC before so I thought I’d just be an observer, but they had a small crew so I got to be the West Yard Passenger Switcher. My dad and I had so much fun we’re thinking of hosting our own op-session, although we have DC.

It was a great experience, boy can this hobby get really fun!

sounds fun, you should have your own operating session, i think you would have even more fun

Congratulations. Once you’re hooked, ops is the best.

And have your own sessions, don’t let being cab control vs. DCC stop you.

TRain Ops are a team sport and I think more fun than operating alone. But getting that first one set up can be a lot of work. Keep us posted of your progress.
