Kudos to this wonderful company. I ordered some things on Monday and it arrived at my house this afternoon. I know other people have good experiences with this company. I thought I would share another great story for anyone who is new to the forums.
Yes Yes…I like to use them for my ever expanding and as yet untouched stash of loco detailing parts.
The following inane and absolutely bizarre comment is tendered to this serious post for the purpose of providing annoyance–and a touch of levity–on this 23rd day of March in the year of our Lord two thousand and eleven.

Have always had agreat service from them. I am worried though, I haven’t been able to get their website to work for a couple of days now. Recession victim? Anyone have any info?

Remember, the name is 1st Place Hobbies, not First Place Hobbies. If you spell out the word First your browser might not be able to find it.
Went to their web page and the index is lacking to say the least. It appears that you must know the Walthers # to find it. Needs work.
Have done business with them for quite some time, always delivers, everything is correct. If they don’t have everything in stock you order, they will ship what they have and send the rest when they get it.
Also, I have no problems with their index in finding things and I don’t even know any Walthers numbers.

1stPlaceHobbies is terrific. A+ in my book. If you have a problem, just call them. They are very accomodating and if you have a problem, they’ll make it right.
