I am still in the process of doing background type items for my layout room before I start in on the scenery ballasting etc
I am hanging prints posters etc over the layout and then I will start in on adding the clouds etc on the backdrop
My first print is an Alvin Staufer Berk
I have Bachmans Berk ( same number as in the print ) in my display cabinet and I have an undecorated one lettered for the ME&O on my layout roster
I have 2 of his other prints a Hudson and Challenger but am debating whether to hang them or not ( my wife says yes ) as it may be overkill with too many of the same type prints etc
I have a Hudson in my display cabinet but no Challenger and neither on my layout
You might hunt for prints of other locos you DO run. But, with the 2-8-4 already occupying the place of honor, any other prints of similar type would be subordinated.
OTOH, you could go for different themes on different walls. If I modeled an American prototype, I could put RR heralds on one wall, framed memorabilia (Employee TT, photo of Grampaw next to his favorite engine, ticket stubs) on another…
OR, you could just leave the other walls unadorned and allow the Stauffer print to say it all - which it does, very well.
Just my [2c]. Other opinions will differ.

That pic of the Berk is great. Personally, I would not clutter the rest of the walls with more prints. More pics would be very distracting to the view of the layout. Have you considered using SceniKing (or other photo panoramas) for your backdrop. You have your sky blue painted, so it might be best to stipple in the clouds with dry brush technique. I use SceniKing sequential 7" x 11" sections, around all the four walls of my 24’x24’ layout. But, I matched the sky color electronically, to the fairly uniform top sky blue of each section of SceniKing., and painted the sky color accordingly. The various scenes add a lot to the forced perspective. realism. Bob Hahn
