FIRST WEATHERING JOB

Hey what do you guys think of the first weathering job of a structure that I did?

thanx,
Dave

I’m a complete rookie and have never weathered anything, so my opinion may not mean much… but it looks like a good first try to me. What process did you use? Paint, chalk, other??

Fom this side of the screen, LOOKS GOOD!

I’m a pastel chalk guy myself. Also do freight car fading since the application
is reversible if it doesn’t turn out.

I used chalk oversprayed with Dullcote. Thanks for looking.

Looks good. Keep up the good work

Nice.

I’ve heard that it’s better to use a mixture of 9 parts water and 1 part black paint. Anyone know which way is better?

It’s cool, Its alot better than I can do.

Not too shabby, not shabby at all. Looks great.

great job

I use washes in combination with dullcote and powder weathering all the time. It helps vary the effects.

Looks good from here. Keep it up and keep us posted!
