First year of the BAH RR.

This is a duplicate of my posting on the Layouts forum; some of you do not check over there.

Here is the first yearly update:

I have completely reworked my web site (still under construction though) and provide a lot of detailed pictures and the requested progress pictures. The web site is non-commercial with no ads or pop ups; however is is very photo intensive and may be slow for those of you on dial up (please let me know what you find out and how you like/dislike it). Look in the signature block for the WWW button.

I will also duplicate this post in a new posting titled 2nd year of the BAH RR (or something close to that). The second year posting will be used for all future posting of progress and I will cross link the two threads for those of you that want to go from one to the other.

The photo’s that follow are intended to show what happened; it is not an exercise in great photography (I tried, but it was not worth the effort).

You have come a long way!!![bow]

Been busy working around the house so have not been checking in very regularly but still love your work.

Thanks ! It has been a lot of fun. I do enjoy actually operating now as opposed to “always” doing construction work.

Just out of curiosity, why have you taken to ground (floor) out of your recent photos?

Several reasons. It is the same old blue carpet on the floor. I have “stuff” stashed under the layout and have not hung drapes from the fascia yet. In several cases, I can not get back away from the layout far enough to get floor to ceiling photographs; so I just tried to show the “most” layout in 600 pixel high photos and try to keep them relatively consistent.

Great work for 1 year of construction; wish I could make progress like that. Don’t worry about Mt Messy, we all have something like that on out layout somewhere. Maybe you can build a chemical waste landfill up there. [:)]

No landfill for Mt. Messy. The community will be re-named Ingleside. I already have the manor house done; just need to do a bunch more. Besides, where else can I put the landscaping supplies that I need to finish the layout?
