Fitting smoke units to Bachmann steam locomotives.

Hi.

I have a number of Bachmann steam locomotives with factory fitted sound decoders. I also have 3 BLI locomotives with smoke generators fitted. I like the smoke and don’t have any of the troubles of oily track etc associated with smoke. How would I go about fitting smoke generators to my Bachmann 2-10-2 and 2-6-6-2?

Seuthe makes a universal generator that you should be able to use. Smoke is not my thing…but this site may be able to help you out some:

Mmm seems to be an issue with heat but BLI manage. Not much information out there though.

The information in the link was valuable but I probably won’t be bothering as self fit units just don’t perform like the BLI units.
