Five citizens recognized for heroic actions following Nevada Amtrak truck collision
Whew!!! At first glance, I thought that truck driver, Bob Breen, might be the driver of the truck which struck the Zephyr.
A quick search showed that the driver of the first truck was Lawrence Valli. I don’t know what Breen did but it must have been heroic to receive the Medal of Valor from the Nevada Dept. of Public Safety.
I was the hoghead on that train. I would like to know more about who these citizens were. Any assistance would be appreciated.
God bless each of the individuals who helped out those in peril from this tragic accident, especially to Bob’s family.
