Even though I have the Wright Trak resin Southern Caboose which I have displayed here, I also have an old Athearn Bay window caboose which is lettered for the Southern. I bought this a very long time ago before anything accurate was available. So until I can afford to have a fleet of Wright Trak cabooses I decided to make the Athearn model a little closer. I removed the roof walk and plugged the holes. I painted the steps and railings yellow and the window frames silver. These changes go a long way toward making the caboose, at least from a distance look better.
