Looks like the large flag and the “Building America” slogan are now being applied to the most recent SD59MX (former SD60M) rebuilds.

UP #9900-9909 have the standard “Union Pacific” lettering on their long hood, while #9915 and #9916 have the large flag and UP’s slogan.
I do love that flag. Although I think they need to make the Union Pacific logo bigger. I’m not a big fan of UP, but I think they have one of the best logo’s second only to BNSF. Union Pacific really is a testamate to Amrican inganuity, and the ability of a corperation to stay in business for so long.
