Hi all
I first asked did any one know what a flag stop signal looked like in 2004 some time.
Well page 82 Feb 2006 of Garden Railways mag has finaly answered that question with the arm painted green and white instead of red and white.
But has any one got any ideas on a better operating mechanisam
that will move the arm from vertical in the slot to sticking out at 90 deg to the post from a lever at the base of the mast.

I wait with interest not keen on operating methods being at the top
of the mast too easy to knock it over in a ham fisted moment.

I scratchbuilt a Train Order signal for my Aristo depot ; the semaphore blades operate (and the aspects illuminated) but I haven’t quite come up with a linkage that is reliable. Best bet so far is one of the slow-motion switch machines but no lamp of solution has appeared.
