Have some plastic items that I’ve painted with flat latex house paint. I’d like to apply a flat finish to protect the surface.
Will Dullcoat work for this, or will it affect the latex paint?
If Dullcoat will be a problem, what would be alternative?

Sprayed-on Dullcote, either from a can or using an airbrush, should work okay, as it usually dries (to the touch, at least) within seconds, especially if airbrush-applied.
Because it’s lacquer-based, don’t apply it with a brush.
I’d guess that you could also find other clear finishes made for use on plastics at any hardware store, many of them acrylics.

As long as the house paint is fully dried, this should be no problem.
Also… protecting the finish might not be necessary, house paints are extremely durable compared to most model paints.
