Florida East Coast 2013 Christmas Train surpasses goal
We greeted the train in Cocoa, Fl. The engines were beautiful in fresh paint with 711 leading the way in classic yellow and red colors. 425 is painted in blue and pink beast cancer awareness / Susan G Komen colors. My wife is undergoing treatment for beast cancer, so it was a special treat for us. The lounge observation car was also beautiful in silver. The Marines and volunteers offloaded gifts while Santa spent time with the kids who were present. Thanks to Trains for letting us know it was happening.
The Scrooges at Union Pathetic need to take PR lessons from FEC, CP, Amtrak, and other roads which run such operations!

I saw the train in Fort Lauderdale. The FEC President, Jim Hertwig dressed as Santa and holding a child in his lap was priceless. We have a classy railroad down here.
