Makes me proud to be a Fortress Investment Group (NYSE: FIG) shareholder. Return all the locos to the red, orange, and silver scheme. As good as the Seaboard Air Line’s “Orange, Lemon, and Lime” scheme, which was on-a-par with Atlantic Coast Lines’ purple and silver. Merry Xmas!
Many thanks to the FEC for their Christmas Train and for their All Aboard Florida passenger service between Miami & Orlando. Some of the best trips I ever had were on the FEC between Jacksonville & West Palm Beach!
W. Koster: I hope you weren’t planning to take a trip down to West Palm Beach anytime soon on Amtrak. I understand Federal grants for Amtrak’s endeavor to resurrect passenger travel on Florida’s East Coast were turned down by Washington’s bureaucrats. I suspect this is so the politicians can continue with their wasteful corporate welfare programs.
